Happy Friday, friends.
This week went by in the blink of an eye. It was a super quick week but a good one, especially since we fell back into a more regular routine with Madeline going to camp this week. Its been quite a while since I did a roundup of my current favorites so I’ll get right down to it.
1. Big Little Lies.
I am so excited about the return of Big Little Lies on HBO. Are you watching? I just loved the first season and was so excited for the debut of this season with the addition of Meryl Streep to the cast. I think it is going to be so good and am also excited that it takes place after the end of the book because I have no idea what is going to be happen. Now, if you haven’t read the book but are watching the show, stop what you are doing right now and order it.
2. The best nude flip flops.
For years and years I alternated between two pairs of flat sandals all summer long but neither one of them was that comfortable. These days I am all about comfort while chasing my two little ones around. Well, girls, I have found the perfect, comfortable, goes with everything flip-flop. They come in tons of colors (I have three now because I’m obsessed) and lots of varieties of nudes.
3. Tinted Sunscreen.
Beautycounter just released our award-winning non-aerosol spray sunscreen in a tinted version and it is awesome. I am so fair-skinned so I rely on sunless tanner and bronzing lotion to fake my tan. The tinted sunscreen is such a great way to help me do this at the pool. Mineral sunscreen can sometimes wash you out a little, too, and I just love that this one does not at all.
4. Swim lessons.
Madeline has been taking swim lessons for the last few weeks and I just love watching the progress she is making. She is doing so well and becoming so much more confident in the water. Mamas, isn’t it the best feeling watching your little one learn a new skill?
On a side note, after her lesson last week I rewarded her with her own pair of goggles. She’d been picking from our swim teacher’s borrow bucket each week so I chose the perfect little pink and purple pair for her and y’all – she wore them everywhere she went for three days. To the grocery store, out to lunch, to the post office.
5. This guilty pleasure.
I can turn down milk chocolate any day but something about this dark chocolate, peanut butter combo is perfection.They are definitely my guilty pleasure when I am craving something sweet these days.

I watched the first season of Big Little Lies and really enjoyed it! I thought it was cool how they adapted it from the book. Really curious where season 2 will go, because I didn’t think there was a sequel to the book?
