Welcome to The Blush Magnolia, a Charlotte, North Carolina based lifestyle + decor blog.
I’m Elizabeth, a thirty-something wife and mom to two sweet children and a goldendoodle pup. Most often you will find me clipping flowers from our backyard garden, at a barre class, hosting a party, tackling a home project, volunteering at my kids’ schools, or spending time with our family and some wonderful friends.
Named after the pink Jane magnolia tree in my front yard, this blog was born way back in 2011 to share our wedding plans and to provide a little creative outlet in the midst of a big move and lots of change. It has truly been a lifestyle blog throughout the years where I shared the things we were loving and all that our family was up to. Once an elementary teacher, I obtained my certification as an interior decorator in 2023 and decided to shift the focus of my blog to decor and creating a beautiful home, although you will still find a slice of every day life here, too.
