Happy Monday, friends. Thank you all for your kind words on Friday’s post – it was a fun one to write and we had a great anniversary.
On Friday, Madeline graduated from toddler soccer. I’m not sure she learned a whole lot (haha!) but we did have fun trying a new activity. I cooked dinner on Friday to kick off the weekend. I made bruschetta chicken and freshly baked bread and we had a nice relaxing evening of watching Suits. We are currently on Season 5.
On Saturday, I went to a barre class while Corey and Madeline went to the golf club to putt. Then, we met up at home for lunch before Madeline’s nap.
Saturday evening we went uptown and grabbed a quick dinner before seeing Cirque du Soleil. I’d never seen one of these shows and it was incredible. So much talent! We shared a celebratory dessert at BLT after the show. This was a peanut butter chocolate mousse with banana ice cream and it was SO good!
Yesterday we worked out then went out for a family brunch with my mother-in-law. Then, she came back to our house and stayed with Madeline during her nap time so that Corey and I could run an errand at the mall and then stop by to visit some friends for a little while. It was so nice to get out by ourselves in the middle of the day even for just a couple hours as that is rare these days!
This week, Madeline and a friend are going to see the dinosaur exhibit at a local museum and I am getting to work on selling round two of her old clothes that she has outgrown. Cue the tears!
First date lipstick, nectar blush (great safe dupe for Nars orgasm), romantic eye palette
Today is the last day of Beautycounter’s 20% off sitewide sale with code “love.” This is the first sale like this they’ve ever done so I can assure you they won’t do another one this big any time soon! I am just $67 short of the goal I set for my fundraiser for April so if you or someone you know is interested in trying out safer products for the first time, now is the perfect time while they are on sale. I shared some favorite products for gifting here and a little about what to buy to get the most bang for your buck when placing a first order for yourself over on Instagram in my story highlights.
What kinds of fun things are you up to this week?
