Well, spring is right around the corner and I have my eye on a few fun items for when the weather warms up. My warm weather closet still needs such an overhaul. I added a few fun pieces last year but the two seasons before I really did zero shopping with being pregnant and then nursing.
I am obsessed with these chambray scalloped shorts. Aren’t they SO fun? I love an easy to wear pair of denim shorts and the scallop just adds a little something extra and feminine.
I think this blush eyelet tank would be a perfect match. I love soft, flowy tanks for the warmer weather and the eyelet on this one is so pretty. I think it would be perfect with a light cardigan, too, until the weather really warms up.
This romper is also on my list as a throw on a go option for the spring and summer. I am not a huge romper person unless they are for Madeline. Then, give me alllll the rompers. But this one seems super easy to wear and could definitely be dressed up or down.
I have picked up a few new transitional pieces recently. The first was this tie-sleeve tee. It comes in several colors and I have my eye on the gray, too. Its under $20 and so easy to wear. I’m loving the tie-sleeve trend for dressing up a basic, comfy tee. I splurged and got these new rain boots. My previous pair of rain boots are hot pink and I have been wearing them outside in the yard. Yes, they’re easy to wipe off but after having hot pink for the last six years, I really wanted something less flashy and easier to match.
I picked up this chambray tunic in a half off sale a couple weeks ago. It is generous so I went with a petite size and it still covers my booty. I think it would be perfect for spring or early fall with white jeans and booties or flats but it worked really well here with my favorite leggings, too.
What is on your wish list right now?
The shorts are too cute.
Those scalloped chambray shorts are adorable! I have them in white and love them, so I’ll for sure be getting those, too! 🙂
I have those shorts and I LOVE them. I got them last year when Loft came out with them. I also love how light weight they are, so they're pretty comfortable to wear in the heat – which I experienced when I was in Savannah last summer. 😉
Pairing that necklace with that chambray outfit was SUCH a good idea!! It makes it pop! I am so bad about adding accent jewelry to my outfits, but your one simple pictures inspires me to possible invest in a few more pieces! Also, I LOVE my Hunter boots! You'll wear them for years and years! They're the best!
I love everything on this list; I think the chambray short are my favorite though!
