Coffee + Conversation

Happy Monday. Today my to-do list is a mile long. Projects for work to finish, projects at home, prepping to host an event this weekend, meal prep, SO much laundry, and loving on my sweet girl are all on the agenda today. Good thing I slept right through my alarm, right?

We ended last week with a bang by ripping out all of the previous owner’s landscaping at our house and really opening up our backyard. It is such an improvement but now we have to wait for grass to grow and make a few final decisions before it will have kind of “finished” look. I’m learning that with landscaping, and most home projects actually, I’m kind of an immediate gratification kind of girl. I’m having to channel my patience here but am excited to see what it all looks like in the spring.

The new blog design is basically finished but I’m still undecided what I want to do about the name, as I mentioned in last week’s post.

My #nsale purchases arrived and I am so pleased with everything I purchased. I didn’t go crazy by any means but got several great pieces. First up were these yoga crops. I wore them for the first time yesterday and am obsessed. They are lightweight and so soft yet not thin enough that they are see-through, which is my biggest peeve about workout wear.

I also got this cute tie-front ruffle-sleeve tee. I already wore it with white shorts but see it transitioning nicely to wear with jeans.

I got this cardigan and it is a little chunkier knit than it appeared online, which made me love it more. It hits right below my bottom, making it perfect to pair with leggings and boots, and I love the ruffle on the back. Something a little different.

I also purchased this cashmere tie-side sweater and am loving it as well. The quality is great and it is such a steal as part of the sale. I see myself getting a lot of wear out of it this winter.

I didn’t get anything from the beauty portion of the sale because I just completely revamped my makeup bag earlier this month and loved everything I purchased but none of it was going to be included in the sale. Worth every penny, though. I’ll share those finds, later.

Did you pick up anything in the sale?

I have my eye on the side tie cashmere sweater too, so good to know you love it! I'm waiting for payday later this week though to make the purchase if it's still available. 😉

I got way too much at the sale, but I loved so many things! The cardigan sounds perfect – I love a good chunk sweater!

What cute finds! We've been trying to work on our yard too; it is such a huge task! Good for you all for tackling it!
