Happy Tuesday girls! And happy December! How in the world did it get to be December?!
Corey and I had a great weekend. It was fun, but cold! To combat the cold (and the fact that I was exhausted), I wore a colorful outfit to work for casual Friday. My South Carolina print Lilly murfee and a pair of coral Tory’s.
Then Friday evening, we went to a happy hour with friends and then to the Dave Matthews Band concert. We had awesome seats on the sixth row.
We had a really busy Saturday running some errands and getting some Christmas shopping done. When we finally made it home, Corey made some delicious chili for dinner and we plopped ourselves on the couch with a bottle of wine. I made some buttery sugar cookies from scratch for us to nibble on for dessert while we watched a movie.
Riley gave us his most convincing face to try to sweet talk his way into getting a cookie.
A package arrived at school yesterday from the North Pole containing my class’s Elf on the Shelf. My kids were incredibly excited and named him Jingles. He’s already been up to some mischief by changing the date on the whiteboard to December 25.
Time really just seems to be flying for us. We have both been extra busy in and out of work lately. I feel like I missed the entire month of November. And with public transit from Hoboken still being down (aside from the bus, which I HATE), going into the city for fun outings and delicious dinners-out is proving to be really difficult lately. This is a major bummer for me because I love trying new restaurants in NYC. On the plus side, we have been saving a ton of money by not eating out so much. Guess what I’ve been spending it on???
In all fairness, only two pairs are brand new. But nevertheless, I have a Tory Burch problem. Don’t be surprised if my husband confiscates my debit card.
And that is all. Have a great day lovelies!
Feel free to send a pair of those my way. ;)Love the scarf though, so cute!
Oh my! Look at all those Tory shoes. I love that you got your class an Elf on the Shelf. Fun.You will have to read my Haul Out Jolly post that was on Monday, I think. It's up your alley now with the elf.
LOVE that you have so many Tory shoes. I don't have a single pair yet, and the one pair that I do like, M doesn't think are cute, so fail lol. And what's the recipe that you used for those cookies? They look TASTYYY
I am like you and hooked on Tory Burch. Where did you purchase yours? Ericaericasrunningjourney.blogspot.com
What a cute post. I doesn't look like you have a problem at all. You can never have too many pairs of Tory Burch flats.
