Hi pretty girls! How was your weekend? We had a great time. I finally felt like I got a little caught up on rest and was feeling much more myself this weekend than I have been recently.

On Friday, Corey and I tried La Isla, a cuban restaurant in Hoboken. We’ve heard great things about this place but have never gotten around to trying it. Were we ever missing out! Everything was delicious. Major bonus was that this is a BYOB restaurant so we picked up some Mad Elf Ale. At 11% abv, this got our evening off to a great start. 😉 We met up with a few friends after dinner.

Saturday was a super busy morning, which always seems to be the case lately. We were out and about until early afternoon. This was my errand running OOTD.

We headed into the city for dinner at Abe and Arthurs, a steakhouse in the meatpacking district. We first went to this steakhouse as guests of a wholesaler in Corey’s company and loved it. As with so many restaurants in meatpacking, it had a great atmosphere and was delicious but also came with a hefty price tag. When we saw a deal show up on Gilt city recently, we snagged it. Delicious, as usual.

It was really nice to spend some time in Manhattan. Since Sandy we haven’t been going into the city as much since the train is still closed while being repaired. We took the bus in, which was actually pretty easy for the part of the city we were going to.

I picked up this little gem at Francesca’s recently. Oh my word, girls, this stuff is the best. It is an exfoliating scrub and smells heavenly. Its also very thick and gritty, which leaves my hands, feet, and elbows feeling silky smooth after I use it. Perfect for this cold weather! Bonus points – it comes in an adorable package.

 This was my work OOTD last week when I hadn’t done laundry. What to wear when you have nothing clean? A black jersey dress and leopard ballet flats.

I am recently obsessed with Nashville. I have a number of other shows that I am loving this fall. I’ve actually gotten Corey hooked on Scandal so we can watch that together but Nashville has recently become my guilty pleasure. I DVR it so I can watch multiple episodes when he is out of the apartment, like when he went to the Giants game yesterday.

On a similar note, I watched way too much TV while I was cleaning our apartment yesterday. I turned on an episode of Property Brothers and then four hours later, my living room and kitchen were clean but I was still hooked on HGTV.
