Happy Monday, friends. How is it already March?
We had a fun weekend this past weekend with a wine tasting event in our neighborhood, French press and pastries for breakfast at our favorite coffee shop, a hair appointment for me, and some time to just relax yesterday.
It has been raining for what feels like an eternity in Charlotte lately but we finally had a little reprieve over the weekend so our family took full advantage and headed outside for drinks and charcuterie Saturday afternoon. I snapped this picture of Madeline and feel like she looks so grown up here.
Now, in the spirit of keeping it real, the weekend wasn’t all fun and games. Case in point:
Mom life is so glamorous.
We have been struggling a little bit to get out schedule down in this current phase of life but last week I got started back into a routine a little bit with working again. Just in time to celebrate Beautycounter’s sixth birthday today.
I love being a part of this company and our mission so much and can honestly say that I am learning something new in regards to health all the time as a result. I am so thankful for this opportunity. This week enrollment for new consultants is half priced to celebrate our birthday and all orders placed through me over $50 receive a free lipstick. You can shop here or email me for more details.
Madeline has been so into jewelry and accessories lately. It is so cute and such a fun phase to be a girl mom. One of my friends recommended these necklaces because her daughter loves them so I ordered two for Madeline. I’d planned to put them both in her Easter basket but she caught sight of the black and white polka dot one before I could stash it away and has been wearing it nonstop. They are super inexpensive and I love that they are knotted so they are safer for the littles. This would be the perfect birthday gift for the three or four year old little girl in your life.
Usually at the first of the month I set goals for the month but I’m skipping that this month because pretty much the only goal I have is to make it through with my two little ones until the weather starts to warm up! Right now I feel like I am constantly cleaning and tidying up only to turn around fifteen minutes later to see that Madeline has dumped an entire container of toys down the stairs or stuck play-doh to the floor while I was nursing. Haha! We are ready to be able to get outside!
Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start!
