Happy Monday, friends! I am popping in later than usual this Monday because we have just been busy with all things baby, family, and home.
Corey, Madeline, and I enjoyed a low key weekend this weekend with lots of grilling, time on the porch, and even fires in the fireplace at night. Fall seems to finally have arrived in Charlotte and I couldn’t be happier about being able to wear leggings and long sleeves.
Last week, Madeline and I met up with friends for a visit to the pumpkin patch. It had looked like it was going to rain all day and did sprinkle a bit during nap time but we all put on our rain boots and went anyway and everyone ended up having a great time. There were only a few other people there so our little ones virtually had the whole patch to themselves. What a treat!
We played in the play area for a bit, visited the animals for a bit (Madeline introduced herself to each one), and then went to pick out our pumpkins. I was sure Madeline was going to pick out an enormous one like Chumpkin from her favorite book but she ended up choosing one perfect for her size and that she was able to carry around all by herself. My independent little lady!
We ended the day with pumpkin whoopie pies and apple slushies since they were all sold out of cider donuts for the day before heading home just in time for dinner and a bath. Madeline and her friend had such a great time and I’m so glad we didn’t let a little rain and mud deter us.
Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start!
What a fun weekend! I’m so glad fall is finally here!
She is getting so big!! Whoopie pie sounds so darn good now.
So cute!!
So cute that she is getting so independent – with her cute little friend, bless! A 'whoopie pie' sounds amazing – I am imagining something sloppy and creamy but might be wrong!
Superb layout and design, but most of all, concise and helpful information. Great job, site admin. Take a look at my website 46N for some cool facts about Online Business.
