Wednesday Coffeetalk

Happy Wednesday, friends. We are in our last two weeks before preschool starts back and things have seemed so busy even though we had very little on the calendar.

Over the weekend, Corey and I didn’t get a sitter or plan anything and just tried to relax. We ordered in both nights, enjoyed some time outside on the porch, and crossed a few projects off our to-do list.

This is my busy time of year for Teachers pay Teachers so I have had a little more work to do in my store than usual but it has also been such a blessing for all of my nursery and big-girl room wish list items. I can’t wait to share with you all the inspiration boards for both in the next couple weeks and some of the progress we have made in the nursery.

On Monday, Madeline and I went to Discovery Place and a lunch uptown with one of her best little friends. They had a dinosaur exhibit that we’ve been trying to make time to see all summer so I’m glad we finally made it. She was actually a little scared of the dinosaurs but was so excited to see that there was a “Nemo” and “Dory” in the aquarium.

For all of my local ladies, I am hosting a Beautycounter pop-up this Saturday at the Bar Method. I’ll be giving away over four hundred dollars in gift certificates and a few free products, too. If you’re local to the Charlotte area, come see me. If not, I’m also offering $10 off any online order over fifty dollars just for the weekend. You can email me for details and all proceeds are still going to benefit Charlotte Robson through the end of the month.

After her exciting morning, Madeline had such a hard time calming down to take her nap so I ended up going in to rock her, which I haven’t done in over a year. But, I can’t say that I hated it. Of course I got nothing done during nap time but I know our rocking days are numbered before she has no interest in it anymore and #babiesdontkeep.

I have a couple fun posts scheduled for the end of this week and next week including my experience trying Mac + Mia out for shopping for Madeline’s clothes, my second trimester workout routine, and some projects we have been doing around the house.

How is your week going this week?

Gosh, there is nothing better than holding a sleeping baby! She looks so precious. Especially in that Lily dress. I know I can't have kids or else I'd be broke spending money on all those kids clothes!Kristen // http://www.pugsandpearls.com
