Three years.

Today Corey and I celebrate three years of marriage. I can confidently say there is no one I’d rather do life with and that I love him more and more every day.

I guess this officially puts us past the “newlywed” stage. It makes me wonder where has the time gone while at the same time I feel like we’ve been married forever…because I simply cannot imagine not being married to and sharing a life with him.

Life is easier with Corey. It’s more fun being able to share it with him every day. But marriage is not always easy. I think that’s the most important lesson three years has taught me. All relationships have their ups and downs but its commitment to another person that ensures you’ll always end up on top again.

This third year has had so many joys that we have celebrated together. It has also had its share of challenges as we adjusted to the schedule that comes with two new jobs, one with frequent travel, and the loss of a parent. I’m sure glad we’ve been able to tackle these as a team.

This might turn out to be the best and most exciting year yet. I’m looking forward to sharing each day of it with Corey and celebrating many, many more anniversaries. Love you to the moon and back!
