As it gets closer to the wedding, my Maids of Honor and I are narrowing down plans for my bachelorette party. My bridesmaids are spread out all over the country for graduate and law school and work so we are planning a fun-filled long weekend.
We’ve narrowed our trip down to two possible locations, each with a seriously different vibe.
1. South Beach, Miami.
Ahh….this would be an amazingly fun party. There are some great hotels with bachelorette packages in the cute Art Decco District. Love the idea of lounging on the beach or by the pool all day, complimentary cocktail hours, and fun nights out at fantastic bars and clubs. The nightlife is phenomenal. Not to mention my girls and I can walk right out of our hotel room and spend the day on the beach.
2. Charleston, South Carolina.
So much closer to home-home for me and one of my favorite places. I like that Charleston has amazing food and a little more classy atmosphere – while still having some fun bars. The major drawback is having to drive to Isle of Palms to spend a day on the beach .
Decisions, decisions…

Charleston! You won't regret!
Charleston!!
Charleston! Stay in Mt. Pleasant — it's cheaper and you're a cheap cab ride from downtown and a hop away from IOP. Check the suites by Target – Comfort Suites or Hampton, I can't remember. But they have two bedroom suites and they are right on the IOP access road. And cabs are much cheaper in Charleston than in Miami… you could also rent a party bus or limo for one night. :)Another option is to check out rental beach houses on Folly – they aren't as glamorous as IOP or Sullivan's, but they are affordable AND you can drink on the beach. Get one that's a block or two off of the beach andyou can easily walk….and Folly has some fun beach bars.:)
Where are most of your bridesmaids located? I think you should go with Charleston, even though South Beach could be a lot of fun too!
come to south beach and Preppy Wife Preppy Life and I will come over and celebrate with you! haha. Totally not kidding.xoxo.
