Hello ladies!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I was away at the Miss North Carolina and Miss South Carolina National Miss and National Teenager pageants. I won the Miss division title last year and had a wonderful year and such a fun time representing South Carolina at the national competition in Philadelphia last July.
Wonderful girls were crowned in each age division and I was able to see some of my favorite pageant friends. I have met some of the most genuine, fun, and amazing girls through pageants. So many of these friends will be guests at my wedding and so many of them I keep in touch with even though they live far away.
This was my last pageant experience as a “queen.” I currently work for a local Miss America Organization preliminary but I am not planning to compete anymore. There are other exciting things in my life currently, like moving and a planning a wedding!
Its hard to express what a positive impact my involvement in pageantry has had on my life. To honor all the opportunities that pageants have provided me and all the doors that have been opened for me because of my involvement, I’d like to take a moment to share with you some of my favorite moments – in photos!

oh wow, its so great to see how much of a great effect pageantry has had on your life, we dont have pageants really here in the UK, but it looks like a lot of fun 🙂 xxxx
I know you are going to miss these days, but you will have great days ahead. I feel the same way about my career in TV because a lot of doors were opened for me when I was in that world, but now I've had to carve out new paths on my own. Blogging has helped me do that again in some ways. I have to admit that I do miss being treated like "royalty" sometimes. I'm sure you know what I mean because you were treated that way on your public appearances. Congrats to you. Leigh
Wow, loved this little peek into your life as a queen!
I'm loving these pictures! You look stunning in all of them!
Thank you so much for telling me about Marley Lilly! I'm on the website right now looking at all of the floppy hats. :)Love the pictures!
