Well…today I’m having a little bit of blogger’s block. More or less – I have so much on my mind that my brain is going too fast to put anything into words. I’m super excited about my job interview, my trip to New Jersey this weekend, and the way things are going with our condo. And I am stressing trying to get everything I need to get done well…done before the weekend. So instead of writing a regular post today, I’m going to do the “ABC’s of Me” post I’ve seen on some of your blogs. Since I’m still new to Blogger, I thought it would be a cute little “get to know me” post so you can all learn some random facts about what makes me me! Stay tuned for a regular blog post tomorrow morning. 🙂
The ABC’s of Me
A-Age: 23
B-Bed size: Queen but one day I’d love to upgrade to a spacious king.
C-Chore you hate: taking out the garbage. Yuck!
D-Dogs: My sweet Riley. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and we just celebrated his first birthday.
E-Essential start to your day: A nice warm shower and a big cup of vanilla hazelnut coffee!
F-Favorite Color: Pink! And I love every shade of it!
G-Gold or Silver: silver or white gold. I only wear yellow “gold” costume jewelry.
H-Height: 5’2″
I-Instruments you play: None. I have no musical ability whatsoever.
J-Job title: 1st grade long term substitute
K-Kids: None for quite a while! I love children and definitely will want some of my
own…somewhere years down the road.
L-Live: South Carolina!
M-My mom’s name: Ann, which is my middle name.
N-Nickname: “Liz” by my aunt, uncle, and cousin, “Lizzy” by Corey, and “Libby” by my friends when I was in middle school
O-Overnight hospital stay: Yes – twice! And I’d prefer to not repeat that experience!
P-Pet Peeve: Well…I do quite a bit of driving commuting to my grad school classes so I would have to say people who pull out in front of me, force me to take my cruise control off or slam on breaks, then proceed to drive more than five miles under the speed limit.
Q-Quote from a movie: “So its not going to be easy. Its going to be really hard. We’re going to have to work at this every day but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day.” – The Notebook
R-Right/Lefty: lefty 🙂
S-Sibling: None. I used to ask Santa for a little sister every Christmas.
T-Time you wake up: 5:55 but it takes me the five extra minutes until 6:00 to get out of bed
U-Underwear: Exclusively Victoria’s Secret
V-Veggies you dislike: I love vegetables. When I was a child I would turn down McDonald’s happy meals for a salad. BUT I am not a fan of brussel sprouts.

W-What makes you run late: I hate to be late and I am usually pretty good about it! If I’m running late, I usually can’t even tell where I lost the time! My guess…changing outfits several times or dawdling while putting on my make-up.
X-Xrays you’ve had: I have had a number of these. Teeth during dentist check-ups; neck, back, and collarbone after a car accident; ankle after a gymnastics mishap, and chest when I had pneumonia…whew!
Y-Yummy food you make: Lasagna is my specialty. Also I’m a baker. Fresh bread, cookies, cakes, and especially cupcakes!
Z-Zoo animal: Koala bears and the giant tortoises
If you decide to do an ABC’s of you post, make sure to leave a link to your blog in my comments. 🙂
That's adorable, Elizabeth. I may do that sometime. I'm still new to blogging, too. I"m working right now on my post for tomorrow. Kicking off Wedding Fever! My anniversary is tomorrow so I'm redoing my wedding. My daughter is Liza. She is Elizabeth formally.
You and I picked the same quote from a movie! LOVE the notebook, and the fact that it was filmed in my hometown in SC makes it better :)Pink is my very favorite color too! I've had to adjust decorating everything in pink now that I'm married, lol.I'm including the link for my ABC list…http://lifeingarrison.blogspot.com/2011/03/abcs-of-me.html
I was going to email you to answer your question but you didn't have your email listed on your user profile…so feel free to delete this comment after you read it :)I'm at Winthrop University. I came to Winthrop in 06, but then didn't like what I was doing so I left. When I was up here I met my husband, then boyfriend. When we got married and I moved back up here it seemed like the perfect opportunity to go back to school..so here I am!
