Thoughts for Tuesday

Happy Tuesday lovies! How was everyone’s weekend? I know I normally do a Hitched post on Tuesdays but I was too tired and lazy last night to upload photos. So we’ll pick up with that next week.

Corey and I had a fun and relaxing weekend this past weekend. On Friday we went out for happy hour then dinner with some friends. I love happy hours. I also love that I got to wear my new chevron top with my J.Crew {factory} bubble necklace. I really love how fun this blouse is, yet I can also wear it to work.

On Saturday, we went to New Hope, Pennsylvania. It is right across the New Jersey border on the Delaware River and is the cutest town. Corey and I went with his parents and sister and had lunch at a waterfront restaurant, enjoyed spiked apple cider, then took a look around some of the town’s artsy shops. The weather was nice and the leaves were gorgeous! 

Halloween is kind of a big deal in Hoboken. There will be a bar crawl and all the brownstones are decorated with lights, spider webs, and the occasional ghoul. I really love all the decorations on the old brownstones.

I’m “decorated” for fall/Halloween. Usually I love to decorate for all holidays, but I’ve been feeling a little bah-humbug about decorating lately. I think its just because its such a pain to un-decorate such a small space. All my decorations have to be taken down then put in Corey’s parent’s garage until next year. I do, however, have the most darling wreath on my door. I purchased it before our fall party in September from blooger, Southern Charm’s Etsy store. The candy corn are my favorite. Love!

This sweet man has a birthday this week. Corey turns 28 on Friday. He got his present early this year but I might have a trick or two up my sleeve for the actual day.
