Happy Monday girls! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday and weekend and that you’re week is off to a great start. I have been neglecting my blog lately as lots has been going on and I’ve been super busy. My apologies. I’ve been reading a lot of yours, though, while I’ve been sitting in gridlocked traffic on my way too and from work, though, even though I haven’t been leaving as many comments as usual. Here’s a few iPhone pics to show you what we’ve been up to lately.
I told you I’ve been working super hard. I walked out of school last Friday to see my car was the only one left in the parking lot. Plus side? I got so much done in my classroom and didn’t need to bring anything home for the weekend.
My first gingerbread latte of the season. I love those Starbucks red cups.
Corey had these gorgeous flowers delivered on my birthday. Daisies and roses are my favorites. What a sweet hubby!
At least we know there won’t be any mold in our building after the hurricane because I came home last week to find the lobby of our building was starting to be torn out. Kind of an eyesore for the time being, but I am so thankful because it smelled really gross after sitting under water during the hurricane.
Speaking of Hurricane Sandy and its impact on Hoboken, Riley ate an acorn on the sidewalk that was contaminated. He eats pretty much everything he can get his mouth on and he’d swallowed it before I could grab it. He has been one sick little puppy but is feeling much better now and even enjoyed a little Turkey on Thanksgiving.
My mom was in town for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and I’m so happy I was able to spend some time with her. We had dinners at my favorite restaurants, went on a couple excursions, and saw the musical Jersey Boys on Broadway. It was amazing and I would highly recommend it if you’re in New York anytime soon.
And of course, there were a couple birthday mojitos. Yum!
Have a great day lovelies!
Glad you had a wonderful birthday! And I'm also glad Riley is feeling better! Sick pups are no fun. 🙁
I hope you had a great holiday, and a great birthday, too.
Poor Riley!Happy belated birthday! That mojito looks delish!!:)
Oh no! Louie eats so much random crap too! It's hard to keep track. Once he ate one of his toys and we had to make him throw it up with hydrogen peroxide… Glad that your building is getting better though.
That mojito looks so good! ♥ ❤ ❥ Brooke
